WINE - COUNTRY MANAGER – CHINA MARKET
Job Description
• Report to Sales Director and/or General Manager
• Take part in the design of the sales strategy
• Achieve sales target assigned by company
• Maintain close relationship with existing customers
• Management of existing accounts and development of new potential accounts
• Promote the company’s portfolio to designed sales channels
• Organize promotions, wine tastings, and dinners with existing and prospective customers
• Organize wine and service trainings for customers
• Participate in trade events and trade shows, sometimes on evenings and weekends
Desired experience and skills
• University degree or above
• 2-5 years sales experience in wine business in China
• Existing network of contacts in food & beverage industry in China
• Knowledge and appreciation of Spanish wines
• Ability to travel 50% of the time
• Results driven and able to work with autonomy
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Good self-organization, time management and problem solving skills
• Honest and active personality
• Excellent command of English; Chinese and Spanish will be a plus
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and Powerpoint

We are a Spanish winery with a production of 15mn bottles of wine and a wide portfolio of
prize-winning wines.
During the last decade, the company has implemented hefty investments in state-of-the-art facilities,
marketing and R&D of new brands and products, becoming one of the reference exporters in our
region and firmly positioning our main brands in mass retailing, horeca and with large accounts
around the globe.
At present, China is rapidly becoming one of our main sources of expansion and we need an
enthusiastic person to lead our growth and strategy in the country.
Hiring process
After the pre-selection of candidates, there will be a first interview in Shanghai (or online/phone). A
second interview will take place with the winery representatives. The process is expected to last for
one month until the final decision.
